Imad Wasim surges to top of T20I bowlers rankings

Pakistan's left-arm spinning all rounder Imad Wasim has risen to the top of the ICC's T20I rankings for bowlers. Imad displaced South Africa's Imran Tahir, who dropped two positions to third following a poor performance in his side's series defeat to England. The leg spinner had claimed the No. 1 ranking in January but leaking 75 runs in his last seven overs, for only one wicket, has not helped his cause.

Sharjeel, Latif provisionally suspended by PCB

Islamabad United batsmen  Sharjeel Khan  and  Khalid Latif  have been provisionally suspended under the PCB's Anti-Corruption Code as part of an ongoing investigation into an organisation's alleged attempts to corrupt the 2017 Pakistan Super League. Both batsmen have been sent home and no replacements have been named yet. The PCB's investigation is being backed by the ICC's Anti-Corruption Unit.
